Design - Its shapes: The talk of the town

In the centre of attention

These proportions create a sensation. The expressive shape and at the same time the sensuous clarity of the new GLE Coupé will lend you, the driver, an unshakeable fascinating presence. Get used to being talked about. All resistance is futile.

Exterior – A particular presence.

A low body and sharply raked roofline: These two features lend the new GLE Coupé its characteristic silhouette. In the fascinating interplay with elements that are otherwise characteristic of SUVs, the vehicle impresses with its strikingly expressive proportions.

The rear section of the new GLE Coupé impresses with its spectacular new design: The horizontal lines are particularly evident in the broad lights. Innovative: The licence plate adapter is integrated in a powerful bumper with chrome-look underride guard.

The attractiveness of the side view of the vehicle is thanks to its roof line, sloping gently towards the rear, as well as by its long wheelbase, short overhangs and typical SUV wheel arch linings and side sill panels. The typical Mercedes-Benz lines lend the vehicle a tension-rich dynamism evident even while it is stationary.

The front design is characterised by the radiator grille with the single louvre typical of the Mercedes-Benz Coupés. Also impressive: the bonnet with its striking power domes.

Interior – The best of two worlds.

The sportiness typical of a coupé paired with a spatial feel typical of an SUV: In the interior of the new GLE Coupé the best of both worlds can be found. Luxurious extras ensure the exclusivity typical of Mercedes-Benz.

One of these luxurious extras, for instance, is the optional ionisation for the interior air. These measures have a refreshing effect and improve the air quality in the vehicle interior. The doors, with their particularly wide opening angle and the high seating position ensure easier access and a high level of spaciousness and comfort.

Standard sports seats, the multifunction leather sports steering wheel and large trim elements in dark poplar wood, or optionally in aluminium or piano lacquer, underscore elegantly the vehicle's sporty character, as do the horizontally-emphasised lines of the dashboard and doors.
